The UK Telegraph has some photos of a very elaborate model of Herod’s Temple which are worth a look just because of the detail and work involved. The next step is to produce a lego version (actually, a CGI version that we could walk through would also be nice)!

It includes 32 versions of Jesus (perhaps in an attempt to keep everyone happy?).

    Jeepers that’s not bad is it.

    I agree with you that the next step has to be a Lego version. An obvious logical progression that has been for too long overlooked, especially now that purple and orange Lego blocks are available (they never had them when I was a kid).

    I’m tempted to combine the Lego and CGI by using Bricksmith! Certainly cheaper than buying all the lego…
